Developer info
My Nail Art is created by Jersey Publishers.
I made this application for anyone who loves planning their next nail set and wants one cute place to collect inspiration, organize ideas, and create new nail art designs.
I noticed how easy it is to find beautiful nail inspiration online, but how quickly those ideas get scattered across screenshots, browser tabs, saved posts, and random notes. So I built My Nail Art as a simple, kawaii nail art companion.
I’m offering My Nail Art free for everyone to use, and I hope it helps you feel more inspired, organized, and creative.

Captures, imported images, designs, and preferences stay in local Chrome storage on your device. The My Nail Art app has no user accounts, analytics, advertising, developer-operated cloud storage, or background page reading. The optional website newsletter form is separate and sends only the contact details you choose to Jersey Publishers.
Version 4.1.5 · Effective July 17, 2026 · Last updated July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the My Nail Art Chrome extension, its website, Capture Studio, side panel, My Studio dashboard, 10 Nail Set editor, local inspiration library, Settings, and Appointment Passport features handle information.
My Nail Art is published by JerseyPublishers. This policy applies to extension version 4.1.5. My Nail Art is a local-first creative planning tool: extension content is processed and stored on the user's device unless the user deliberately exports or shares it.
My Nail Art has one primary purpose: helping users deliberately capture or import visual inspiration, organize and customize it into a complete 10-nail design, and create a visual reference that can be saved, printed, exported, or shared for a nail appointment.
Information is handled only as necessary to provide that purpose and closely related local editing, storage, backup, export, accessibility, language, and security functions.
The extension does not require an account, registration, login, payment, or subscription. JerseyPublishers does not operate a cloud library for extension content and does not receive users' captures, imported images, designs, boards, notes, or settings.
Before My Nail Art first handles a screenshot, clipboard image, or selected import, version 4.1.5 displays an in-product privacy notice explaining the information involved: the image the user chooses, an optional page title or source URL for a user-requested capture, the local creative purpose, on-device storage, and user-controlled export or sharing.
The user must select “I understand and continue” before those data-handling tools become available. Closing or declining the notice does not record agreement, and Snip, Paste, and Import remain blocked until the user affirmatively agrees.
The extension records only the consent-notice version and acceptance time in local Chrome extension storage. Users may review or revoke this consent in Settings. After revocation, My Nail Art asks again before the next screenshot, clipboard, or import action and does not delete existing local designs automatically.
When a user invokes My Nail Art from the Chrome toolbar or its capture controls, Chrome may temporarily allow the extension to access the active tab. My Nail Art uses that temporary access to capture visible pixels requested by the user and, when requested, inject a temporary selection overlay so the user can draw around a visible area.
The selection overlay is removed after selection or cancellation. It is not used to read passwords, form fields, private messages, page text, browsing history, cookies, or content outside the user-selected capture workflow.
A temporary preview can include image dimensions, type, and creation information needed to crop and save the image. Canceling before confirmation does not add the preview to the user's local inspiration library.
My Nail Art can temporarily receive the active page title and URL to identify the source of a user-requested capture. The source-reference option is off by default. A source title or URL is retained with a saved image only when the user deliberately enables that option.
An opted-in source URL may appear in a user-generated stylist sheet or export. Users should review exported source references before sharing them.
If a user selects Paste and grants the optional clipboardRead permission, My Nail Art reads supported image data available from the clipboard for that requested paste operation. It does not continuously monitor the clipboard and does not intentionally collect clipboard text, passwords, authentication codes, or clipboard history.
Users may instead import image files or restore a My Nail Art project or backup that they select. The extension processes the selected file locally and may reject unsupported, malformed, or excessively large content.
My Nail Art locally handles content the user creates or chooses, including inspiration names, image metadata, nail designs, artwork layers, colors, finishes, nail shapes, boards, saved sets, favorites, stylist notes, must-have details, avoid instructions, questions, project names, and imported backup content.
This content is used to reopen projects, render the design workspace, create Appointment Passports, and generate user-requested exports. JerseyPublishers cannot inspect content that remains only in the user's Chrome profile.
The extension stores local settings needed to preserve the user's experience, such as interface language, text direction, visual skin, mascot, default nail shape, color preferences, onboarding progress, accessibility choices, recently used options, local counts, storage schema version, and references needed to reopen local image assets.
Temporary capture-target identifiers, tab and window identifiers, and timestamps may be kept in Chrome session storage long enough to complete an explicitly invoked capture. They are not used to build a browsing history and are removed or expire.
Confirmed images and thumbnails are stored locally in the extension's IndexedDB database. Compact project state, preferences, board information, and references to local assets are stored in Chrome extension storage. Temporary capture state may use Chrome session storage.
Local extension storage belongs to the user's Chrome profile. It is not a remote backup, and JerseyPublishers cannot recover it after browser-profile deletion, storage clearing, device loss, or uninstallation.
Locally handled information is used to provide user-requested capture, crop, import, organization, design, editing, preview, translation assistance, accessibility, backup, export, printing, and sharing features.
JerseyPublishers does not use local extension content to identify users across websites, create advertising profiles, determine creditworthiness, sell data, train a developer-operated model, or monitor browsing activity.
A user may choose to create PNG images, SVG files, printable views, Appointment Passports, editable project files, or local backup files. If the user invokes the device share interface, the browser or operating system displays destinations selected by the user. When native sharing is unavailable or canceled, My Nail Art may offer a local download instead.
Once a file is sent to a person, application, printer, website, storage provider, or communication service selected by the user, that recipient handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. JerseyPublishers does not choose recipients and does not receive a copy automatically.
Version 4.1.5 requests the narrow permissions needed for its current functionality.
The extension does not automatically send support or diagnostic information to JerseyPublishers. If a user voluntarily emails support, the user may provide an email address, name, message, screenshot, or diagnostic details. JerseyPublishers uses that information to respond, investigate a problem, maintain reasonable support records, prevent abuse, comply with law, or establish and defend legal claims.
The My Nail Art website does not include developer-operated behavioral analytics or advertising. If a user separately joins the Jersey Publishers newsletter, Jersey Publishers receives the name, email address, consent choice, source, and release interest the user submits. The optional form is separate from the extension and does not upload captures, designs, projects, notes, settings, or diagnostics.
Website hosting, content-delivery, email, database, and security providers may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver the site, save a voluntary subscription, or deliver a message, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, security signals, and email contents. That website, newsletter, and support processing is separate from locally stored extension content.
Users should remove passwords, payment details, authentication codes, private communications, and unrelated sensitive information before contacting support.
Local extension content remains in the user's Chrome profile until the user deletes an available item or project, clears the extension's storage through Chrome, removes or resets the applicable Chrome profile, or uninstalls the extension. Exported files must be deleted separately from every location or recipient where the user saved or shared them.
Users can access and correct local information through the extension's design, library, board, and Settings controls. To remove all local My Nail Art data, users may clear the extension's stored data through Chrome or uninstall the extension. JerseyPublishers cannot retrieve, correct, delete, or restore data stored only on a user's device.
Eligible support correspondence may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the support, security, legal, and recordkeeping purposes described above. Users may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible support records by emailing the privacy contact, subject to applicable law and necessary verification.
Safeguards include an affirmative consent gate before image data is first handled, local-only extension storage, user-initiated tab access, capture review before saving, source-reference storage off by default, optional clipboard permission, no broad host permissions, no remote code, a restrictive extension content security policy, and no developer-controlled network connection from extension pages.
No system is completely secure. Users should protect their devices and Chrome profiles, keep Chrome and the operating system updated, review captures and exports, maintain private backups when needed, and share only with intended recipients.
Chrome prevents extensions from injecting scripts into or capturing certain protected pages, including some chrome:// pages, browser settings, and Chrome Web Store pages. My Nail Art does not attempt to bypass those restrictions. Paste, Import, and visible-tab crop options may remain available when on-page selection is unavailable.
My Nail Art may use Chrome's built-in Translator capability to assist with appointment notes when that capability is available. Translation processing is requested on the user's device and is not sent to a JerseyPublishers server. Chrome may provision language-model resources as part of providing its browser capability.
Translations may be unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. Original wording remains available, and users should not rely on translation assistance for medical, safety, allergy, legal, or other critical instructions.
My Nail Art is a general-audience creative planning tool and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The extension does not create user accounts or transmit local extension content to JerseyPublishers, and JerseyPublishers does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the extension.
Parents and guardians should supervise a minor's use of browser capture, imported files, email support, and sharing features. If a parent or guardian believes a child voluntarily submitted personal information in a support communication, they may contact JerseyPublishers to request appropriate review or deletion.
My Nail Art may be used in multiple countries and languages. Local extension content stays on the user's device unless the user selects an external destination. Voluntary support communications may be processed in the United States or wherever the publisher's hosting, security, and email providers operate.
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights concerning eligible personal information held in support systems. Because JerseyPublishers does not receive locally stored extension content, those requests cannot be used to retrieve or delete information that exists only on the user's device.
My Nail Art's use of information received through Chrome extension permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information handled through Chrome permissions is used only to provide or improve the extension's prominently disclosed capture, design, local-storage, and export features. My Nail Art does not use or transfer user information for personalized advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, creditworthiness, lending, data brokerage, or unrelated purposes, and JerseyPublishers personnel cannot read locally stored extension content.
My Nail Art does not transfer locally handled extension information except when the user deliberately selects an export or sharing destination, when required by applicable law, when necessary to address security or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to legally required notice or consent.
JerseyPublishers may update this policy when My Nail Art's features, permissions, information handling, legal obligations, or Chrome Web Store requirements change. A new effective date will be posted with the updated policy. Material changes will receive the disclosures and choices required by applicable law and Chrome Web Store policy before taking effect.
Privacy and support questions may be sent to info@jerseypublishers.com. Because extension content stays local, include only the minimum information needed to explain a request.

Users are responsible for imported files, including their content, origin, safety, rights, and compatibility. My Nail Art may reject or resize unsupported, malformed, excessively large, or potentially harmful files. Do not import malware, executable code, corrupted files, or material intended to disrupt the application or browser.
Designs and Appointment Passports are illustrative references. Actual salon results may differ because of nail size and condition, materials, equipment, technician interpretation, appointment duration, lighting, display or print differences, substitutions, allergies, sensitivities, or safety considerations.
JerseyPublishers does not guarantee that a professional will accept, understand, reproduce, or complete a design exactly. Discuss feasibility, timing, materials, price, substitutions, and safety directly with the nail professional before service.

Users are responsible for choosing and confirming recipients, reviewing files, protecting sensitive information, maintaining backups, deleting unwanted copies, and ensuring they have the right to share included material.

Use My Nail Art only for lawful purposes. You may not infringe rights; violate privacy, confidentiality, or contracts; harass, threaten, exploit, or impersonate anyone; distribute unlawful or malicious content; capture private information without authorization; distribute malware; damage the extension; circumvent Chrome protections or website access controls; remove proprietary notices; falsely claim affiliation with JerseyPublishers, Google, or Chrome; or use automated systems to abuse the application or support services.
JerseyPublishers may restrict JerseyPublishers-operated support services or discontinue support for users who misuse those services, subject to applicable law.
My Nail Art's software, interface, original graphics, mascots, branding, icons, layouts, and written materials are owned by JerseyPublishers or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, sell, publish, redistribute, or create a competing derivative product from proprietary assets except where law expressly permits.
JerseyPublishers may consider and use voluntarily submitted ideas or feedback without compensation or obligation. This does not transfer ownership of a user's private designs, captures, or locally stored content. Do not submit confidential business information as general feedback.
My Nail Art may interact with Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, websites chosen by users, local file systems, native sharing interfaces, printers, communication applications, salons, and storage providers. Those products and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
A link or interaction does not mean JerseyPublishers endorses or controls a third party. Google and Chrome are not parties to these Terms and do not sponsor or endorse My Nail Art.
Support is available at https://mynailart.jerseypublishers.com/#support and by email at info@jerseypublishers.com. JerseyPublishers will make reasonable efforts to review requests but does not guarantee a response time, solution, update, or recovery of local information.
Use is also governed by the Privacy Policy at https://mynailart.jerseypublishers.com/#privacypolicy. Do not include passwords, payment information, authentication codes, private communications, confidential files, or unredacted sensitive captures in support messages.
JerseyPublishers may add, remove, modify, secure, or discontinue features; correct defects; change file-format or browser requirements; and deliver updates through the Chrome Web Store. Material changes to information handling will receive legally required disclosures and choices.
My Nail Art depends on compatible Chrome features including Manifest V3, side panels, extension storage, IndexedDB, active-tab access, and scripting. Some protected pages cannot be captured. Continuous availability or compatibility with every browser, Chrome release, operating system, website, file, printer, sharing destination, or enterprise policy is not guaranteed.
Users may stop using My Nail Art and uninstall it at any time. Uninstalling may permanently remove local information, so export important projects first.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Nail Art is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express, implied, or statutory warranties. JerseyPublishers disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and compatibility to the extent legally permitted.
JerseyPublishers does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, successful exports, permanent local storage, capture on every website, accurate translation, exact salon reproduction, correction of every defect, or indefinite availability. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JerseyPublishers and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, affiliates, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from My Nail Art, including local data loss, export loss, device or browser issues, translation errors, salon outcomes, user-selected sharing, third-party content, copyright or privacy disputes, health conditions, or another person's conduct.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount paid directly to JerseyPublishers for My Nail Art during the twelve months preceding the claim or ten U.S. dollars, except where applicable law requires another remedy. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular limitations, so they apply only to the maximum legal extent.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JerseyPublishers and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from unlawful use, violation of these Terms, User Content, infringement of rights, misuse of exports, or violation of law. This does not require indemnification for conduct attributable solely to JerseyPublishers where prohibited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in the user's residence applies. Subject to non-waivable consumer rights, disputes will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey.
Before filing a claim, the parties will make a reasonable effort to resolve it informally. Send a concise description and requested resolution to info@jerseypublishers.com, without passwords, payment credentials, authentication codes, or unrelated sensitive information. This does not prevent urgent injunctive relief or use of a legally available consumer complaint process.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Users may not assign these Terms without prior written permission; JerseyPublishers may assign them with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, transfer, or asset sale subject to law and required notice.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement concerning My Nail Art unless a separate written agreement expressly applies. Sections concerning ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and third-party rights survive termination where their nature requires.
Updated Terms will identify a new effective date and be posted at https://mynailart.jerseypublishers.com/terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted; additional notice or agreement will be requested when required by law.
